My first bike was a 1968 Triump Boneville. It was black and fast.I was 18 just out of highschool and had no fear doing long fast wheelies through the middle of our small town.Sold it to buy a 1972 Kawasaki 750 three cylinder two stroke rocket.Next was a 1976 HARLEY SUPERGLIDE.Wish I had that one back.Owned several since then and I've got two Harleys in the garage now.
Well not countin Mini bikes and such. My first Scooter was an Indian 50 cc flat tracker. Never did know what year it was. I was 11 and worked part time in a Flower shop, sweepin floors and helpin with deliveries. I made 25 bucks a week and that ride cost me 150 bucks. There was no buyin parts for it, I had to make anything I broke, or modify a part off something else to work. It ran like hell, and I rode it everywhere, mostly as a dirt bike. 50 cc's and a 4 speed trans. Wish I still had it, lol. Since then, there have been a lot of them, imports and Harleys, Street and Dirt. Road to rippers and racers. Currently my butt is in the saddle of Lil Yeller, My 97 FXSTC 1340 with an EV 27 cam, S&S Carb and Sampson ground pounders.
Hey Bro! Was that a Liberty Edition 76 Superglide? With the roadster tank and GAFM decals. I had one of those, and wish I had that back too. I'll post a pic of it on my page.
